Industrial Cleaning Projects in Scotland

The latest job that Mobile Hygiene Services have completed was for a major client in the construction industry. The client had been overseeing the construction of a high profile business park on the main Glasgow to Edinburgh Road. and our job called for substantial manning levels and equipment deployment.

Cleaning Work Included:

• Interior Cleaning
• Deep Cleaning

• Window Cleaning
• High Level Cleaning

In total 8 buildings needed a thorough final clean before being handed over to the end-user.

The 4 storey buildings were of various sizes and the total floor area was in the region of 100,000 sq metres. In addition to a final clean for the interior of each building all the windows were cleaned inside and out. We also undertook cleaning the external cladding on the buildings which required the use of Genie 60 Cherry Pickers and our high pressure steam-cleaning equipment

Of course, at this time of year we were facing adverse weather conditions which meant coping with high winds, freezing temperatures and heavy snow. We were grateful for our Health & Safety training which meant that our staff were able to comply with the standards required by our client's site management.

Needless to say the job was no picnic but rarely in the business of industrial cleaning does the work come gift wrapped!

Undertaking a deep-clean including such demanding high-level elements and of this size just goes to show the importance of having staff trained to professional industry standards. Compliance with the client mean that not just any industrial cleaning company could deal with the task.

As the work drew to a close, after five weeks involving up to fifteen staff at a time, it was gratifying to hear the commendation not only from our own clients, but also the appreciation of the end-user too.
